About
Hi, I'm Jivanna.
For more than three decades, I have had the privilege of walking alongside children and their families through some of life's most challenging and transformative moments. Over the years, I came to appreciate not only the resilience of children, but also the enduring ways our earliest relationships and experiences continue to shape us throughout our lives.
Thirty years of helping children taught me what adults often wish someone had understood about them when they were young. That understanding has become the foundation of my work with adults.
As a psychodynamically trained therapist, I believe that lasting change begins with curiosity, compassion, and a deeper understanding of ourselves. Together, we explore the patterns, relationships, and emotional experiences, both past and present, that influence how you see yourself, connect with others, and move through the world. In the safety of a thoughtful and collaborative therapeutic relationship, insight can become the catalyst for healing, growth, and new possibilities.
Whether you are living with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, the effects of early experiences, or are simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, therapy offers a place to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most. My hope is to provide a space where you feel genuinely seen and heard, and where meaningful, lasting change can unfold at your own pace.
I believe that while our histories shape us, they do not define us. At every stage of life, we have the capacity to grow, to heal, and to create a more authentic and fulfilling way of being.
I bring to this work not only decades of clinical experience, but also a deep respect for each person's story and a genuine belief in the human capacity for healing and transformation.
